About Dr. H

Hi, I’m Dr. Heidi Scott, founder of Learning Pursuits Consulting LLC. I’m a fractional Chief Learning Officer and executive coach who helps businesses and leaders build capability, confidence, and measurable results that show up in performance.

I hold a doctorate in leadership from Gonzaga University and I’m a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation. My work is practical and outcome-focused, so insight turns into action, not just good intentions.

I also help teams use AI-powered learning and productivity tools to reduce noise, speed up development, and make progress easier to sustain. I’m a learning junkie who stays current on the newest tools and practical workflow hacks so progress doesn’t rely on willpower alone.

My approach to work and coaching is grounded in biblical principles because I’m a sold-out Christian. Faith is not a side note for me. It’s a foundation for how I lead conversations, make decisions, and serve people.

Outside of work, my husband and I live in Stuart, Florida and train for and race Half Ironmans. That steady discipline has a way of showing up everywhere, especially in clear priorities, consistency, and follow-through. We’ve been married for 36 years and we still love and like each other! We also love time with our kids, their spouses, and our growing crew of grandkids.

I also speak for businesses and events on leadership, learning that sticks, and practical ways to use AI to improve performance without adding noise.
